About Me
Translation has always been part of my life. As a child, while I was learning English, I would try to interpret everything I heard in my own head. I knew from a young age that I wanted to write for a living, and when I discovered translation as a profession in college, I knew it was what I wanted to do. I became obsessed with linguistics and gained fluency in French and Portuguese. In 2009, I embarked on a graduate degree at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in California, and after acquiring my translation and interpreting master's degree, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to work as a freelance translator and interpreter. I had the opportunity to work within the translation and interpreting industry in various roles, including in-house linguistic work for companies like Wells Fargo and Sony PlayStation. Today, I continue to work with a diversity of clients, helping them with their Spanish translation needs. Through Palabra, I am excited to expand the services I offer by helping customers with their content writing needs in English and Spanish. I look forward to working with you!
